Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide assisting mechanism which is further simplified as a restoring structure.SOLUTION: A slide assisting mechanism comprises: a case 1 attached to either of a body 7 or a moving body A; a pair of latches 4 arranged movably in the case and shifting between a standby attitude in which the latch is engaged in the case and a pull-in attitude in which the engagement is released; energizing means 3 for urging the latches in one direction of approaching each other; and an operating member 8 mounted in other of the body 7 or the moving body A. When moving the moving body from a first position of the body side to a middle of moving to a second position or from the second position to a middle of moving to the first position, the latch on one side releases the engagement via the operating member, and the moving body becomes movable to the second position or the first position with the operating member with the approaching drive by energizing force to the other latch. The latch 4 has an engagement part 42 in a normal time for engaging with the operating member working in conjunction with the shift of the latch 4 from the standby attitude to the pull-in attitude, and also assisting engaging means 47 for releasably engaging the operating member 8 when the operating member in a disengaging condition with the engagement part is in the pull-in attitude.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate switching of an attitude of a latch to be maintained, even when a long coiled spring is used.SOLUTION: A slide assist mechanism includes: a pull-in unit 6 comprising a case 1 attached to one of a body and a mobile body, a slider 2 disposed in the case, a latch 4 supported by the slider and changed over between a stand-by position where the latch is locked to a corresponding part of the case and a pull-in position where the latch is unlocked, and energization means 3; and an operation member 8 attached to the other of the body and the mobile body and changing over the latch 4 from the stand-by position to the pull-in position and vice versa. When the latch is changed over from the stand-by position to the pull-in position, the mobile body is allowed to move from the body side first position to the second position through the operation member using the energization force of the energization means.
