    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital photographing device for faithfully photographing and digitizing a three-dimensional object.
    SOLUTION: This digital photographing device is configured to project the division sites of an object from an optical system to a photoelectric conversion element for picking up those images, and to connect the pickup digital images of the division photographic sites for acquiring the image data of the object, and provided with an optical axis fixing part 4 for fixing an optical axis 3 of a lens 2 to the object; a line scanner 7 for line-scanning a prescribed range by a reading part; a fixed frame arranged at an image forming position by the lens 2 vertically to the optical axis 3; bellows 6 for connecting the lens 2 to the fixed frame in a shielded state; a mounting part installed in the fixed frame for mounting the line scanner 7; a slide mechanism for making the mounting part slide-move to a two-dimensional direction in the fixed frame; and an image processor for connecting the digital images read by the line scanner 7.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object-photographing method capable of photographing an object with a resolution that is the resolution of a photoelectric conversion element mounted in a digital camera or over and that can eliminate the need for correcting a image as a whole, when combining the digital images of the object obtained by imaging.
    SOLUTION: In the object photographing method, by imaging split parts of the object through projecting light from an optical system to the photoelectric conversion element and by merging digital images of the split parts to be imaged to obtain image data of the object, the optical axis of the optical system is positioned fixed with respect to the object, the photoelectric conversion element is positioned on a plane perpendicular to the optical axis; the photoelectric conversion element is moved on the perpendicular plane in the case of imaging the split parts of the object; and the light from each split part of the object is projected to the photoelectric conversion element so as to image digital images wherein the adjacent split parts are partly overlapped.
