Abstract: The color filter of this invention comprises a transparent substrate, a porous activated film layer formed on the substrate and made of activated alumina or activated silica or a mixture thereof, a colored area or a pattern formed by the dye fixed in the minute pores of the activated film layer, and a coating layer sealingly closing the upper portions of the minute pores of said activated film layer. This color filter is relatively simple and easy to manufacture, superior in resistivity to heat, water, chemicals, solvents, etc. and suitable for use as a color filter in various display devices, particularly liquid crystal display devices.

Abstract: A conductive circuit pattern portion is formed on an insulating substrate film, the pattern portion being constituted by a laminate of a thin metal film pattern layer with excellent electrical properties and an easily formable printed pattern layer, and a hot-melt adhesive layer with anisotropic electrical conductivity is further formed on the circuit pattern portion, whereby it is possible to easily a flexible conductive film connector which is accurately formed with a minute conductive circuit pattern having excellent electrical characteristics. The conductive film connector has excellent electrical characteristics and makes it possible to obtain complete adhesion. Further, there is no danger that the conductive film connector will fail as a result of long use; hence, it provides a highly reliable connection.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate a color blurring by forming a color pattern layer by using a transfer sheet and smoothing surfaces of color pattern layers of >=2 colors. CONSTITUTION:The color pattern of a multicolor filter to be manufactured is formed on the transfer sheet by a normal printing method. The transfer sheet is obtained by forming a transfer layer of one-layer constitution of specific color pattern layers of >=2 colors on a substrate sheet such as a plastic film with peeling property. A dot pattern or stripe pattern is easily formed as the color pattern layer 2 of the color filter and the color filter substrate 1 is manufactured by an ordinary formation simultaneous feeding method by using this transfer sheet. Thus, the color filter 3 is obtained. Then, a figure shows a simulated example of the use of the multicolor filter 3 for a liquid crystal panel display.
