    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide the transparent touch panel which does not spoil linearity. CONSTITUTION: A lower electrode which has a conductive film and a couple of parallel bus bars 3 formed on the top surface of a transparent insulating base material and an upper electrode which has a transparent conductive film and a couple of parallel bus bars 7 formed on a transparent flexible insulating base material are put on over the other by interposing spacers between the transparent films so that the direction between the bus bars 3 of the lower electrode and the direction between the bus bars 7 of the upper electrode cross each other at right angles, and the peripheral parts are adhered together with an adhesion layer 10 to constitute the analog resistance type transparent touch panel, which is provided with an insulating layer 16 which is discontinuous at least at the inside end part in a frame area which is present between the upper and lower electrodes adjacently to the adhesion layer 10.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To maintain the linearity of a transparent touch panel by maintaining the conductivity and evenness of a conductive film of an upper electrode even in the case where sliding of a finger and a pen is repeated at a position formed with an insulating layer or near there. CONSTITUTION: This transparent touch panel is provided with a lower electrode 4, which is formed with conductive films 2, 6 made of ITO and a parallel pair of bus bars 3 made of silver paste on the top surface of an insulating board 1 made of soda glass plate, and an upper electrode, which is formed with a hard coat layer made of acrylate group phot-curing resin on the top surface thereof. The lower electrode and the upper electrode are overlapped with each other so that the direction between the bus bars 3 of the lower electrode 4 and the direction between the bus bars 7 of the upper electrode 8 cross each other, and the peripheral parts thereof are adhered to each other by an adhesive layer 10 made of pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape so as to obtain the transparent touch panel. An insulating layer 16 made of the phot-curing resin is provided outside of a frame area, which exists between the upper electrode 8 and the lower electrode 4 and adjacent inside of the adhesive layer 10. Even in the case where sliding of a finger or a pen is repeated, conductivity and evenness of the conductive film of the upper electrode 8 can be maintained.
