Abstract:
An apparatus, method, computer program and user interface where the apparatus comprises: at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, enable the apparatus to: display a perspective view of a geographical location at a first scale in a first region of a display; identify a point of interest associated with the geographical location; and display the identified point of interest at a second scale in a second region of the display.
Abstract:
A method including causing, at least in part, rendering of a user interface for a location-based service that simultaneously includes both a main view portion and a preview portion. One of the main view portion and the preview portion is caused, at least in part, to display a perspective view of one or more objects in a field of view, and the other of the main view portion and the preview portion is caused, at least in part, to display a plan view of at least a portion of the one or more objects in the field of view.
Abstract:
A method including causing, at least in part, rendering of a perspective view showing one or more objects in a field of view. The method further including retrieving content associated with an object of the one or more objects in the field of view, and causing, at least in part, rendering of a graphic representation relating to the content on a surface of the object visible in the perspective view in a user interface for a location-based service of a mobile device.
Abstract:
An approach is provided for rendering content associated with a location-based service. Content is retrieved that is associated with a point on an object identified in the location-based service. The object can be represented by, but is not limited to, a three-dimensional or two-dimensional model or models or by an augmented reality view. A model of the object is retrieved. Rendering of the content is caused, at least in part, on one or more surfaces of the object model in a user interface of the location-based service.
Abstract:
According to an aspect of the invention, an enhanced audible feedback solution has been invented for electronic devices using an input device facilitating navigation though a plurality of available user interface input options and confirmation of a selected input option. The electronic device is arranged to define, as a response to detecting a selection of a character on the basis of a detection of a first input to an input device of the electronic device, an audio segment specific to the character. The electronic device is arranged to output the defined audio segment via the audio output means prior to a confirmation by a second input to the input device, the second input being associated with a function adding the character as part of a character sequence entered by the user.
