Abstract: A connector contact has a main body portion, a pair of elastic pieces extending like beams on the same side from two sides of the main body portion, and contact portions respectively formed at distal ends of the elastic pieces, to come into contact with a male contact inserted between the contact portions. The pair of elastic pieces have, at their distal ends, protrusions at which the contact portions are to be arranged and each of which projects in a lateral direction opposite to the other elastic piece. The pair of elastic pieces are deformed by twisting or bending, so that the contact portions oppose each other.

Abstract: An electro-magnetic wave absorbing member comprises a mixture of short fibers (2) of metal or alloy having a high electro-conductivity, a length of 0.1 mm to 50 mm and a length to diameter ratio larger than 10, ferrite and a high molecular weight synthetic resin. In a modification a sheet of this material is used as a low input impedance layer (13) and laminated with an electro-conductive sheet (12) and an impedance conversion layer (14). The member according to this invention can increase electrical loss contributing to the absorption of electro- magnetive waves, can stably control the absorption and can be used in many applications.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the finish of a heat treatment work and automatically stop the work in the batch process in which electromagnetic waves are irradiated to a material to be heated and the materials are heated as a batch, and automatically stop the work after the heat treatment work of the final part of the material to be heated is finished in the continuous process, and efficiently conduct heat treatment work of a large volume of materials to be heated. SOLUTION: At least a thermometer 4 detecting the temperature of a heating part, a moisture sensor 5 detecting the moisture of the heating part, a power meter 6 in which electromagnetic waves containing microwaves emitted from a magnetron 1 are made incident and power corresponding to the incident electromagnetic waves is outputted, and a current transformer 7 detecting the reflecting power of the magnetron 1 are installed. A control part 3 in which when a detecting signal outputted from at least either of the thermometer 4, the moisture sensor 5, the power meter 6, and the current transformer 7 is inputted, the moisture content contained in kitchen refuse 9 is detected from the signal, and power supply to a magnetron power source 2 is automatically controlled and/or stopped is installed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide electromagnetic shielding material wherein excellent shielding effect can be obtained in the range from a low frequency band to a frequency band higher than or equal to several GHz. CONSTITUTION: A conducting gasket 50 and radio wave absorbent 1 are linked with each other and sandwiched between metal plates 51 and 52. In a frequency band heigher than or equal to several GHz, the shielding characteristics of the gasket 50 decreases, and electromagnetic waves permeate the gasket 50. In this frequency band, the absorption coefficient of the radio wave absorbent 1 increases. As the result, the electromagnetic waves which have permeated the gasket 50 are almost absorbed by the radio wave absorbent 1.

Then, the connector 100 is slid in the direction (an arrow C) parallel to the printed circuit board 301, the connector 100 and the printed circuit board 301 are mechanically fixed, and a contact part 107 of a contact 102 is brought into strong contact with a pad part 303.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetic wave screening breathing hole used for an electric dark room and an electromagnetic screening room for screening electromagnetic waves within a wide band from a low frequency to a mm-wave region. CONSTITUTION: In an electromagnetic wave screening breathing hole, a honeycomb screening material is provided in the entrance of the breathing hole and a pyramid or wedge-shaped electric wave absorbing material is fitted to the inner wall of the breathing hole. In the electric wave absorber, the view up to an exit is closed since the section entire region of the breathing hole is hidden by either absorbing body when viewed from the entrance surface of the breathing hole, and the installation position of the electric wave absorber is shifted in the depth direction of the breathing hole to secure the circulation of air. A length L of the breathing hole for fitting the electric wave absorbing body should be 2-3 wavelengths or longer. With this structure, an improved screening property can be achieved within a wide frequency range from a low frequency region to a mm-wave region.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To measure in electric current flowing in a cable without receiving any influence from standing waves by fixing a current probe to one spot. The pipe 2 and plate 4 are electrically connected to each other at the shortest distance through a metallic supporting stand 5. Since a flow-in current Iin and reflected current Ir are attenuated while the currents flow through a jig, the flowing quantity Irt of the reflected current Ir can be made smaller as compared with that of the flow-in current Iin . Therefore, by only fixing a current probe 30 to a measuring position A, only the current Iin flowing in from a current source 13 can be measured.
