Abstract: PURPOSE:To confirm that a text is supplied in a correct mode by producing an alarm sound in case the number of input characters exceeds a fixed level in a KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) or alphabet mode when the text is supplied with designation of modes for types of characters. CONSTITUTION:A mode register 4 receives the mode designation signal corresponding to designation of the type of the input character done by means of a mode key on a keyboard 1 from a keyboard controller 2 and holds the mode state designated presently. A counter 5 receives the mode designation signal and the output timing signal for character and mark codes from the controller 2 and then the mode designation signal for a KATAKANA or alphabet mode and counts the output timing signals continuously until another mode signal is received. A comparator 6 compares the count value of the counter 5 with the prescribed level held inside previously ad delivers the alarm signal when the count value exceeds the prescribed level.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the easy correction of an input character string by extracting automatically the character string to be corrected through a reconversion character string extracting device and correcting the character string. CONSTITUTION:The character strings are stored successively to a character string buffer 70 from an input device 10 via a Roman character converter 30 and a KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) converter 40. When the correction is needed for the character string due to a switching mistake of an input mode, a reconversion character string extracting device 60 extracts automatically the character string to be corrected by an indication given from the device 10. Then the Roman character/KANJI conversion or the KANA/KANJI conversion is carried out automatically for correction of the character string.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To retrieve easily the inputted document by extracting the word used for the title part of the document, and using the word of the part of speech designated beforehand and the word to which the similar word is added as a key word. CONSTITUTION:When the Japanese sentence is inputted by a KANA (Japanese syllabary) character input from a keyboard 1, the sentence is inputted and accumulated to a document processing part 9 as a KANJI (Chinese character) KANA mixing Japanese sentence by a KANA KANJI converting part 2. Next, the form of the document is displayed on a monitor 12 by the control of the processing part 9, and the input place of the title part is indicated. Thus, in a word selecting part 4, the word of the title part is selected during the input of the title, sent to a similar word retrieving part 6 and the similar word of the word is extracted. When the input of the document is completed, the document accumulated at the processing part 9 is stored into a document file 10 in relation to the key word including the word used in the title at the retrieving part 6 and the similar word. Thus, the inputted document can be easily retrieved.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To retrieve a key word without giving no load to an operator by extracting automatically the key word of an input sentence during input of this sentence and then storing the extracted key word into a file in relation to the input sentence.
CONSTITUTION: The words in a KANA (Japanese syllabary) character string supplied through a keyboard 1 are converted into a KANJI (Chinese character)- KANA sentence through a KANA/KANJI conversion part 2 with reference to a dictionary of a dictionary memory part 3. The input sentences are stored at a document processing part 9. A word frequency control part 4 counts the using frequencies of the same word, and the word and the count value are stored in a pair to a word memory part 5. When the input is through with all documents, the part 4 reads the word and its using frequency out of the part 5. Then a word having its using frequency higher than a prescribed level is selected and sent to a similar word retrieving part 6. The part 6 retrieves the similar words based on said selected word and stores them temporarily. Then these similar words are stored to a file 10 through a store control part 8 together with input sentences with relation to these sentences.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To attain picture processing at high speed efficiently by providing an information processor coping with flexibly a change in a processing algorithm and executing parallel processing and an information processor assisting the processing and executing independently sequential processing.
CONSTITUTION: A PSU monitor of the 2nd information processor PSU20 starts a task A60 to the 1st information processor IPU10, an object program is read from a data storage device IM30 and loaded sequentially to internal memories IPP11-1, 11-2...11-n of the IPU10. When the load is finished, the IPU10 attains automatic processing by using the start data added at the end of the object program. When the processing is finished, the IPU10 informs the end of processing to the PSU20. Then the PSU20 starts a task B61 to the IPU10 and a task B62 to the PSU20, the IPU10 and the PSU20 access the IM30 and attain processing entirely independently. Both tasks are executed in parallel asynchronously and when they are finished, it is informed to the PSU20 and then a task D63 is started.
