Abstract:
A multimedia prompting apparatus (106), method (300), and computer program generate and provide a dynamic multimedia prompt to a video client (102a-102c). The dynamic multimedia prompt includes at least two video clips. The multimedia prompting apparatus (106), method (300), and computer program generate the dynamic multimedia prompt by selecting at least one of the video clips based at least partially on information provided by the video client (102a-102c).
Abstract:
A method for providing text-to-speech instant messaging is provided. The method includes receiving (300) a convertible instant message from a sender using a text communication device (106) for a recipient using a speech communication device (108). The convertible instant message is converted (308) from text to speech by a text-to-speech converter (120) in a media application server (104). The media application server (104) provides (310) the converted instant message, along with response options (312), to the recipient. The recipient selects one of the response options, and the media application server (104) sends (318) a response message to the sender that includes the response option selected by the recipient.
Abstract:
A call conferencing apparatus (106), method (300), and computer program allow a chairperson or other participant to enter a pass code for a conference call dynamically. Other participants are then prompted for the pass code. Participants who enter the correct pass code are allowed to join a conference bridge, while participants who enter an incorrect pass code are not.
