Abstract: Procédé de désodorisation d'un mercaptoacide de formule HS-A-COOH dans laquelle A est: -(CH2)n- ; ou dans lequel on extrait la majeure partie des composés malodorants de décomposition du mercaptoacide à l'aide d'un fluide supercritique constitué d'un composé dont la température critique est comprise entre 0 et 135.degree. C et la pression critique entxe 10 6 et 10 7 pascals, l'extraction étant effectuée en présence d'au moins un solvant polaire du mercaptoacide. Produit désodorisé obtenu.
