PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local application composition which does not have a problem on safety, contains ascorbic acid, and is useful for immediate preparation. SOLUTION: This local application composition for immediate preparation contains ascorbic acid and a proper carrier, wherein the ascorbic acid is obtained by bringing an ascorbate into contact with at least one enzyme, such as L-galactono-1,4-lactone dehydrogenase or L-galactose dehydrogenase, which can convert at least one ascorbic acid precursor except the ascorbate into the precursor.

The present invention relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, containing at least one dye precursor, an enzyme with nitroreductase activity and an electron donor. The present invention also relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres using this composition.

The invention concerns the use as direct dyeing agent of at least one tetra-azapentamethine compound, a dyeing composition comprising at least such a compound, as well as a method for dyeing keratinous fibers, in particular human keratinous fibers and more particularly hair, which consists in applying at least one composition comprising such a compound. The composition also concerns tetra-azapentamethine compounds of formula (I). The invention further concerns a method for bleaching such compounds, as well as bleaching keratinous fibers previously dyed therewith.

A dye composition comprises dye precursor(s) selected from aromatic compounds substituted with nitro, nitroso or hydroxyamino radicals; and enzyme with nitroreductase activity capable of reducing the nitro, nitroso or hydroxyamino radicals to amino radical in the presence of an electron donor. The aromatic compounds and enzyme are in a carrier for dyeing. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a process for dyeing keratin fibers comprising applying the dye composition to the fibers in the presence of oxidizing agent for a period of time sufficient to develop the desired coloration or carbonyl compound to form colored species; and (2) a dyeing kit comprising first composition having enzyme with nitroreductase activity and electron donor, second composition having dye precursor(s), and optionally third composition having oxidizing agent or carbonyl compound.

Oxidation dye composition for dyeing keratinic fibers comprises an alcohol oxidase enzyme (I) and a substrate for (I), where (I) is a primary alcohol oxidase (EC 1.1.3.13), a secondary alcohol oxidase (EC 1.1.3.18), a long-chain hydrocarbon alcohol oxidase (EC 1.1.3.20), a polyvinyl alcohol oxidase (EC 1.1.3.30), a vanillyl alcohol oxidase (EC 1.1.3.38) or an aromatic alcohol oxidase (EC 1.1.3.7). Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method for dyeing keratinic fibers, comprising applying the above composition to the fibres for a time sufficient for the desired color to develop; (2) a kit comprising an oxidation dye composition in one compartment and a composition containing an enzyme as above in another compartment, where one or both compositions contain a substrate for the enzyme.
