Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nanoemulsion excellent in preservative stability at ordinary temperature by formulating oils and fats, an aminated silicone and a specific amphiphilic lipid phase in prescribed amounts. SOLUTION: This emulsion includes oils and fats, an aminated silicone and a nonionic amphiphilic lipid phase which is liquid at the environmental temperature below 45 deg.C and the weight ratio in the amount of the oil phase to that of the amphiphilic lipid phase is 2-10, preferably 2-6. The emulsion like this is an oil drop-in-water type emulsion which consists of the oil phase dispersed in the water phase and contains oil drops with an average size of 150 nm or less. As the above silicone surfactant, a compound of formula I (R1 -R3 are each an alkyl and the like; A is 0-20.0; B is 0-50) and a compound of formula II (A is 20-105; B is 2-10; (y) is 10-20) are preferable. This emulsion is useful as cosmetic materials or skin scientific compositions.
