Abstract: L'invention a pour objet de nouvelles compositions lubrifiantes comprenant au moins une huile lubrifiante et au moins un additif dérivé des dithiole-1,2 thiones-3 ou ones-3, Ces nouvelles compositions sont caractérisées en ce que ledit dérivé a pour formule dans laquelle R1 est un radical alcoyl éventuellement substitué ou un radical alcoylaromatique éventuellement substitué, R2 est un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alcoyl éventuellement substitué, un atome d'halogène, un radical carboxyalcoyl-COOR dans lequel R est un reste alcoyl contenant de 1 à 12 atomes de carbone, R1 et R2 ayant à eux deux de 3 à 24 atomes de carbone au total quand R2 est un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alcoyl ou un radical carboxyalcoyl, R1 ayant de 2 à 22 atomes de carbone quand R2 est un atome d'halogène, et X est un atome de soufre quels que soient les radicaux R1 et R2 ou un atome d'oxygène quand R2 est un atome d'halogène. De telles compositions peuvent être notamment utilisées pour les moteurs, boîtes à vitesse, transmissions hydrauliques ou comme huiles de l'industrie mécanique.
