Abstract:
composições de fragrância ou flavor compreendendo diacetato de neopentilglicol. o presente pedido refere-se ao uso de diacetato de neopentilglicol (cas 13431-57-7) como um ingrediente de flavor e fragrância.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides improved methods of performing ozonolysis on alkenes comprising non-reductive quenching of ozonide intermediates using Bronsted bases to yield aldehyde, ketone and/or carboxylic acid products.
Abstract:
The invention contemplates certain polyethers, polyether derivatives, and methods of making and using those same polymers. For example, the starting materials can, e.g., citronellol, prenol, isocitronellol and isoprenol.
Abstract:
The invention relates to polyethers, polyamines, and polythioethers, as well as to processes for synthesizing them, e.g., using olefins as starting material.

Abstract:
The invention relates to the generation of compounds, e.g., fragrance molecules with desirable olfactory properties that can be derived from readily available fatty acids. The invention futher relates to the addition of two equivalents of a methylating agent such as methyl lithium, methyl magnesium chloride, methyl magnesium bromide, or a functionally equivalent molecule, into the carbonyl of a fatty acid ester. The resulting fatty alcohol can then be further derivatized at the hydroxyl position, and/or at the unsaturated positions in the fatty acid using ozonolysis, metathesis, or both, either before or after addition of the methylating agent.
