Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution measurement method and a solution measurement apparatus for favorably detecting a flow of a to-be-inspected solution as a specimen, and accurately calculating the quantity of a to-be-measured material in a state that the development quantity of the to-be-inspected solution is uniform. SOLUTION: In the solution measurement method, the specimen X is temporarily accumulated in a capillary 8 as a solution reservoir of a test piece when the specimen X as the to-be-inspected solution is added to the test piece. The specimen X is developed from the capillary 8 to a development layer of the test piece. An optical characteristic is measured in a predetermined to-be-measured section. The quantity of the to-be-measured material contained in the specimen X is calculated. The to-be-measured section is measured when the specimen X in the capillary 8 decreases to the predetermined quantity or less. The quantity of the to-be-measured material contained in the specimen X is calculated based on the measurement value. The method can detect an event that the certain quantity of the specimen X flows from the capillary 8 to the to-be-measured section of the development layer, and can accurately calculate the quantity of the to-be-measured material in a state that the development quantity of the specimen X is uniform. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immunochromatographic measurement apparatus for accurately obtaining the degree of coloration, and determining a concentration of to-be-measured component if dust other than the to-be-measured component and a residual marker material remain in an immobilized reagent provided on a chromatographic specimen. SOLUTION: The immunochromatographic measurement apparatus includes: a coloration reading means 1 for optically reading a plurality of immobilized reagent sections on the chromatographic specimen at a predetermined sampling interval, and generating reading data; a degree-of-coloration calculating means 2 for calculating the degree of coloration in each immobilized reagent section from the reading data; a degree-of-coloration storing means 3 for storing a temporal change in the degree of coloration in each immobilized reagent section as a degree-of-coloration data sequence; a stationary value detecting means 4 for obtaining the stationary degree of coloration from the degree-of-coloration data sequence of each immobilized reagent section; and a concentration determining means 5 for determining the concentration of the to-be-measured component within a to-be-inspected liquid by using a combination of the stationary degree of coloration in the immobilized reagent sections. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize accuracy degradation due to the viscosity difference between sample solutions in a sample solution analysis method and a sample solution analysis apparatus for developing a sample solution and measuring analytes in the sample solution. SOLUTION: A sample solution 50 is introduced from a sample inlet part 6 provided for one side of a test strip 100 to develop the sample solution 50 by capillary action in a developing layer 2 provided in such a way that its downstream region may extend to the other side of the test strip 100 and analyze analytes in the sample solution 50 in a sample solution analysis method. At the time of developing, the test strip 100 is arranged in an attitude for development in such a way that the downstream region of the developing layer may be oriented downward. Since the effects of the viscosity of the sample solution 50 when developed are reduced to reduce the difference in developing speed between sample solutions 50 having different viscosities by this method, it is possible to improve analysis accuracy and reliability. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting the attitude of a specimen-measuring device and a specimen-measuring method for observing the deviations of the spot of a specimen applied to a test piece inside a capillary, detecting its inclination, and preventing flow anomalies. SOLUTION: The inclination of the device cane be detected, by determining the area of a reduced region formed by he development of a spot of the specimen 123 which is applied to the capillary 108. When the inclination is anomalous, by reporting it to a user and urging the user to correct the inclination, flow anomalies of the specimen 123 on the test piece can be prevented, and measurement accuracy of the specimen-measuring device can be improved. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for sample analysis, capable of satisfactorily acquiring individual information as minimizing increases in facility costs and the large formation of the apparatus even when using a test piece 1 having a surface in which concentration information appears and the opposite surface provided with the individual information such as code information 22, and to provide the test piece. SOLUTION: Code information 22, the individual information on the individual test piece 1, is indicated on the surface opposite to a concentration measuring surface of the test piece 1 in which concentration information of an analyte appears in the test piece 1. A photo-detection means arranged in front of the concentration measuring surface of the test piece 1 acquires concentration information of the analyte at the concentration measuring surface in the test piece 1 and acquires the code information 22 of the surface opposite to the concentration measuring surface through the test piece 1. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromatographic inspection apparatus capable of detecting the deterioration of a test piece at chromatographic inspection, and performing accurate inspection. SOLUTION: With a liquid sample developed in a chromatographic test piece 1, the difference of luminance between two prescribed points or the amount of a luminance change in a prescribed region is measured and compared with a predetermined specified value. Since it is possible to automatically detect deterioration such as deterioration in hydrophilicity at a lower part of a liquid-impermeable sheet material 8 during chromatography inspection, accurate inspection can be performed.
