Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device capable of reducing extra operations imposed to a user for initial user registration.SOLUTION: A server device 100 receives a piece of information on a user who purchases communication apparatus 10A-10N via a network. The server device 100 includes: a network communication unit 101, a registration unit 102 that registers a piece of user information, a piece of information on communication apparatus, and IP address of transmission source as user registration information; and a processing unit 103. When an access is made by a communication apparatus 10A, the processing unit 103 determines whether the accessing communication apparatus 10A is the identical transmission source having the IP address identical to the IP address of the transmission source registered in the registration unit 102. When it is determined as the identical transmission source, the processing unit 103 eliminates the necessity of receiving the user information and the user information of IP address of the transmission source in the user information, the information on the communication apparatus and the IP address of the transmission source constituting the user registration information.
