Abstract: In order to efficiently deodorize and sterilize an inside of a refrigerator, the refrigerator includes a heat-insulating main body which is made of a heat-insulating material and in which a storage compartment is formed, a door attached to an opening provided on the heat-insulating main body so as to be openable and closable, and a cooling unit which cools air inside the heat-insulating main body, and the refrigerator includes: a support which is placed in the storage compartment and on which a photocatalyst is supported; an irradiation unit which irradiates the support with excitation light which excites the photocatalyst; and an air blowing unit which forcibly blows the cool air inside the storage compartment toward the support.
