The information such as address is to be efficiently formed into wobble components and further the S/N ratio in reproducing the information formed into the wobble components is to be improved. In an optical disc of the present invention, there are recorded in a wobble the address information modulated in accordance with the MSK (minimum shift keying) system and the address information modulated in accordance with a modulation system in which even harmonics signals are added to a sinusoidal carrier signal and in which the polarity of the harmonics signal is changed depending on the sign of the data for modulation.

In a first recording area of the disc, main information is recorded using an 8-16 modulation system in the form of pits, and by partially removing multiple radially-extending reflective films, sub-information is recorded in a second recording region using a phase-encoding modulation system. Identification information unique to each optical disc is recorded in the sub-information. The identification information and/or a password is used to access protected parts in the main information. The optical disc is a reproduction type disc. In addition to the optical disc identification information, encryption keys and/or decryption keys may be recorded.

Un medio de grabación (1) con forma de disco que tiene una región emergente (2) y/o una acanaladura (G) formadas en él de una manera circundante, a fin de funcionar como una pista de grabación formada de manera serpenteante dependiendo de una señal de oscilación, en el que una unidad de dirección (ADIP_1, ADIP_ 2, ADIP_ 3) con la información de dirección declarada en él se forma en dicha señal de oscilación como una unidad de datos predeterminada, comprendiendo dicha dirección de información, al menos, una dirección de la pista de grabación, dicha unidad de dirección se construye para incluir, al menos, un bloque de bites (bite "0", bite "1") representando los bites que forman dicha información de dirección, caracterizado porque al menos uno de dicho bloques de bites se forma en una forma de onda que comprende un número predeterminado de periodos consecutivos de una señal portadora sinusoidal al insertar un primera cadena de bites (BM) modulada por cifrado de mínimo corrimiento (MSK) utilizando dicha señal portadora sinusoidal y utilizando una señal sinusoidal adicional de una frecuencia diferente desde una frecuencia de dicha señal portadora sinusoidal, y una segunda cadena de bites (HMW "0", HMW "1") modulada por ondas de modulación harmónica (HMW) sobre dicha señal portadora sinusoidal al añadir señales harmónicas incluso a dicha señal portadora sinusoidal y al cambiar la polaridad de dichas señales harmónicas de acuerdo con dicha segunda cadena de bites.

SOLUTION: The optical storage medium includes a main information area 41b in which encrypted data information is recorded as a pit row that is capable of being read out by means of light and a control data area 41a. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc recording apparatus and the like capable of preventing an optical disc stored with a digital production from being entirely copied in an unauthorized fashion.
