Abstract:
Abstract:
A communication terminal is capable of simultaneously communicating through a plurality of carriers by carrier aggregation, and the communication terminal comprises: a quality measurement unit for measuring the reception quality of a radio wave transmitted through a plurality of carriers from a base station of a connected cell to obtain a measured value; a primary carrier storage unit storing information specifying a primary carrier chosen from the plurality of carriers; a comparator for comparing a measured value of the primary carrier measured by the quality measurement unit to a threshold value; and a cell search unit for searching for another cell when the measured value of the primary carrier is less than or equal to the threshold value. Consequently, a search threshold value for carrier aggregation can be appropriately determined to perform a cell search and a quality measurement.

Abstract:
A cell selection system is for selecting a cell to be used for communications by a mobile terminal (1) in a network having a cell of a mobile phone network and a plurality of WLAN cells included in the cell. Broadcast information including cell selection information is transmitted in the cell of the mobile phone network. This cell selection information has cell change judgment parameters whose patterns are less than the WLAN cells. The mobile terminal (1) reads the cell selection information from the broadcast information of the mobile phone network, uses broadcast information of a WLAN to determine a parameter to be used for judgment on cell selection to the WLAN cell concerned, and judges by the determined parameter whether the cell can be changed or not. A cell reselection system is provided which can restrict the amount of data in the broadcast information even with an increase in the number of WLAN cells included in the cell of the mobile phone network.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a technique to enable a session handover between devices with different key generation functions in an authentication protocol. According to the technique, when a session where a UE (200) receives contents from a contents server (700) is to be handed over to a target node (300), the UE firstly transfers information (session HO information) necessary to the session handover to the target node (Step S1001). The target node performs authentication processing with an authentication server (600) of the network to which the UE is connected and notifies the authentication server of the session HO information transferred from the UE (Step S1003). The authentication server performs authentication for the session handover based on the session HO information, and when the authentication succeeds, the session is handed over from the contents server to the target node, and the contents are distributed to the target node (Step S1005).
