Abstract: Une attache permettant de lier en paquet une pluralite d'objets et de maintenir ensemble une paire d'objets comprend une sangle metallique allongee (26), une tete de verrouillage metallique (24) disposee adjacente a une extremite de la sangle pour recevoir l'autre extremite de la sangle et des moyens a rouleaux metalliques (28) maintenus prisonniers dans la tete pour verrouiller la sangle. La tete comprend une face d'entree de la sangle (50), une face de sortie de la sangle (52) et une ouverture de reception de la sangle (54) s'etendant entre les faces. La tete comprend en outre un sol (46) et un toit (32) divergeant dans le sens de la face de sortie. Les rouleaux sont mobiles entre une position d'enfilage dans laquelle ils sont disposes adjacents a la face de sortie et une position de verrouillage ou ils sont plus pres de la face d'entree. L'attache comprend en outre des moyens de deflexion de la sangle (60) fonctionnant avec les rouleaux pour effectuer un pli dans la portion d'enfilage de la sangle de maniere a maintenir la sangle enfilee en engagement avec les rouleaux independamment de l'orientation de la tete.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and surely cause a locked state by enhancing the tensile strength of a cable tie. SOLUTION: The cable tie has a slender metal strap, a locking head, and a rolling body means. The head is mounted to the first end of the strap. The second end on the opposite side of the strap is inserted to the head. The head has a strap inserting end and a strap drawing end. The rolling body means causes the locked state by being engaged with the strap. The head has a holding means to capture and hold the rolling body means inside the head. The rolling body means can move between a strap insertion permitting position which is adjacent to the strap drawing end and the holding means, and a locking position which is a nearer position to the strap inserting end from the strap insertion permitting position. A ratio of the distance from the point on an edge at a ceiling to the center of the rolling body means located in the strap insertion permitting position and the diameter of the rolling body means is made to be less than 1.7.
