Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a sealing assembly in a cable drop system. The sealing assembly includes a base mounted to a network cabinet and a cover hingedly connected to the base. The sealing assembly also includes a lower sleeve and an upper sleeve. The lower sleeve and the upper sleeve wrap around the cables passing through an opening in the cable drop system. The lower sleeve includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The bottom portion of the lower sleeve is connected to the base and the upper sleeve is positioned around the top portion of the lower sleeve to form the sealing assembly.
