Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cable routing system with brackets that join cable trays to form the cable routing system. A bracket that joins adjacent cable trays includes a main body having a base with a top edge, a bottom edge and sides. The bracket further includes upper members that extend from the top edge, a bottom member that extends from the bottom edge and side members extending from the sides. When attached to adjacent cable trays, the longitudinal wires of the cable tray are positioned between the upper members and the side members and the transverse wires of the cable tray are retained in a space defined by the upper members. A bracket that joins perpendicular cable trays includes a main body and a securing clip. The main body has a bottom and two sides extending upwardly therefrom. Each side of the main body includes a deflectable side latch that engages a bottom longitudinal wire of the cable tray. The securing clip engages the main body to secure the bracket to the cable tray.

SOLUTION: A cover is fixed to a fitting base so as to be opened. The fitting base has a bottom portion and a sidewall having an upper edge portion. The cover includes an upper surface having a latch receiving area, a bottom surface on the side opposite to the upper surface and a sliding latch. The sliding latch is positioned in the latch receiving area of the cover. The sliding latch includes a first end section having a finger tab, its body section, and a second end section having a fixed leg portion. In a closed position, the sliding latch fixes the cover to the cable fitting base.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cable routing system with a drop down cable routing device that routes cables from the cable routing system. The drop down cable routing device is attached to a cable tray of the cable routing system. The drop down cable routing device includes an outer shell and an inner core. The outer shell has downwardly extending sides. A bottom of each side of the outer shell includes a mating flange extending therefrom. The inner core is positioned within the outer shell. The inner core has a base with sides and mating flanges extending downwardly from the sides. The mating flanges of the outer shell engage the mating flanges of the inner core to secure the outer shell and the inner core together.

Abstract: A cable routing system fonned from a tray with a plurality of transverse wires and a plurality of longitudinal wires. The transverse wires form a generally flat top portion with downwardly extending sidewalls. The longitudinal wires are positioned underneath the top portion, side longitudinal wires are positioned adjacent the downwardly extending sidewalls and bottom longitudinal wires are positioned at an end of each of the downwardly extending sidewalls. Abstract: The present invention is directed to a wall mount bracket that supports a cable tray in a cable routing system. The wall mount bracket includes a back wall and a sidewall. The back wall has a top, a bottom, sides and mounting holes positioned therebetween. The sidewall extends outwardly from one side of the back wall. Abstract: An up-spout fitting useful for mounting onto various duct sections of a cable duct system having a base and side walls with a hinge arrangement. The up-spout fitting includes at least a pair of up-spout fitting halves. Each fitting half comprises a base element having a complementary hinge arrangement on at least one side thereof and side walls projecting upward from the base element and defining an outlet aperture that is open on at least one side of the fitting half and open on both a bottom and a top of the fitting half. The pair of fitting halves are mountable onto the duct section with respective outlet apertures facing each other to form a common outlet aperture substantially closed on the sides while remaining open on both the top and bottom to allow cable passage therethrough. By making the side walls of each fitting L-shaped, rotational opening of individual fitting halves can be achieved without interference with the other fitting half or cables located within the duct and fitting. This allows selective opening of one or both fitting halves while still gaining access to the cable receiving channel of the duct section. Also, due to the shape and location of mounting brackets on the outlet aperture of the fitting, additional components can be mounted in multiple orientations.
