Abstract: A device for singulating open-ended objects includes: a housing (ISO) configured to retain a plurality of open-ended objects (c), the housing having an open lower end (162); an outer ring (102) positioned below the housing; a drum (120) positioned within the outer ring to form a drum assembly (180), the drum including a hub (122) having a substantially circular wall (124) and a plurality of wings (127) that extend radially outwardly from the wall to contact the outer ring, the hub, wings and outer ring forming a plurality of gaps; a mounting structure (170) with an exit aperture (172) fixed relative to the housing; and a rotary drive unit (190) mounted to the drum that rotates the drum about an axis of rotation. The presence of the wings can enable the device to singulate caps (c) more consistently.

Abstract: A system for evaporating excess water from a source includes a housing (101) having: an air inlet (106), the air inlet (106) directing air in a first direction; an air outlet (118); a plurality of channels (110) arranged generally perpendicular to the first direction, the channels (110) having undulations (112); and a water reservoir (122) that feeds water into the channels (110). In some embodiments, baffles are created with walls (132) that depend from the ceiling (102) of the housing (101) and that are interdigitated with dividers (114) that separate the channels (114). This configuration can remove water generated by the source (such as an external compressor unit) in a quick and efficient manner.
