Abstract: The circuit has a lamp driver (110) for providing a regulated lamp current to operate the HID lamp (322) in response to a control signal and an intensity sensor (130) for producing and outputting a sensor signal representing the light output at the sensor position. A high pass filter (140) provides the control signal by filtering the sensor signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: an electrical circuit and an image projector with an HID lamp.
