Abstract: The invention relates to a grid ( 3 ) for the absorption of X-rays ( 11 ). An anti-scatter grid for reducing the scattered radiation is readily manufactured by arranging a plurality of layers containing wire elements ( 10 ) that are spaced apart and an appropriate ruggedness is achieved also for large-area X-ray detectors.
