Abstract: The network has a radio network controler and terminals for transmitting transport blocks formed from packet units of a logical channel on a transport channel with an associated transmit time interval of at least one radio frame which is active if the start of a transmit time interval and radio frame coincide. The terminals can form at least one transport format combination determining transport blocks for transmission on the transport channel. Independent claims are also included for the following: a radio network controler and a terminal with a radio network controler.
