Walls; reinforced block-work walls; plastering.-Bricks or blocks for walls are formed with an horizontal aperture a extending therethrough, a convex projection c on the upper face and one end, corresponding recesses d in the lower face and the other end, two, four, or more slots b extending through the top and bottom portions. and recessed or undercut edges for cement on the side faces. The walls are formed as shown in Fig. 11, and may be faced with plaster &c., with or without reinforcing rods or wires f in the dovetailed grooves formed by the undercut edges.
