Abstract: The system uses two different sealing materials, cured at different temperatures. The procedure includes assembly of two parallel flat plates in an oven under vacuum or in a neutral atmosphere. In a first stage the plates have a peripheral seal provided by a first joint, whilst a small orifice remains. The small orifice is closed by a second joint in a second stage of assembly. The first stage takes place at a first temperature, since the first joint is cured at a temperature less than or equal to this first temperature. The second stage takes places at a second, higher temperature, as the second joint is made of a material which forms a seal at a temperature between the first and second temperatures.
