Abstract: There are provided a structural member and a method of manufacturing the structural member. Tailor welded blank (TWB) or tailor rolled blank (TRB) technology is applied to corners of the structural member in consideration of collapse behaviors under axial load conditions, so as to increase the rigidity of a portion of the structural member on which deformation is locally concentrated and improve the energy absorption ability and crash performance of the structural member.
