Abstract: There is described a support fitting (20) for supporting a shelf (RP) on a side (F) of a piece of furniture, comprising: a main body (22) destined to be housed in a seat (SD) obtained in an edge of the shelf, the body comprising a pass-through cavity (28) to contain a transverse screw (60), to be fixed to the side, with an axis (Y) substantially parallel to the larger surface of the shelf, and a movable member (40) capable of being pressed against the walls of the seat to anchor the main body thereto.
