servidor de mídia móvel. um servidor de mídia móvel (mms) inclui hospedeiros de mms e um cliente de mms utilizados para o compartilhamento ubíquo de conteúdo de mídia. um hospedeiro de mms, que pode ser instalado em um terminal móvel, tal como um telefone celular, pode estabelecer um enlace lógico com um cliente de mms através de uma interface com ip e iniciar uma sessão de fluxo contínuo com o cliente de mms. o hospedeiro de mms pode também recuperar conteúdo de mídia de qualquer fonte, tal como uma fonte de rede, conteúdo armazenado localmente, ou uma câmera e/ou microfone no hospedeiro de mms, e servir o conteúdo de mídia ao cliente de mms através do enlace lógico.

Un procedimiento para proporcionar retroinformación por una red, comprendiendo el procedimiento: enviar al menos dos transmisiones, de un primer dispositivo (10, 12) en la red a un segundo dispositivo (10, 12) en la red; en el que dos o más de dichas al menos dos transmisiones se envían cada una a través de una ruta diferente de la red; y recibir, por el primer dispositivo (10, 12) desde el segundo dispositivo (10, 12), a través de una primera ruta de la red, información sobre el rendimiento de al menos dos rutas de la red.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method utilizing multi-description coding (MDC) and one or more cooperative helper nodes to send streaming content on an uplink to a client over multiple paths. The client receives the multiple descriptions and aggregates them together to ideally obtain the original content at its original quality; however, if one or more of the descriptions is lost in the transmission, then the entire content can be generated from the remaining one or more descriptions that did arrive successfully.

In some aspects, a non-gateway node transmits an internet route request to neighbor nodes and receives, from a gateway node, a response message including an address of the gateway node and a gateway indicator. The non-gateway node sets a gateway pointer equal to this address. In other aspects, a gateway node receives an internet route request from neighbor nodes and transmits, to the neighbor nodes, a response message including an address of the gateway node and a gateway indicator. In additional aspects, a non-gateway node receives, from gateway nodes on the network, an announcement of internet connectivity that includes address of the gateway nodes. The non-gateway node adds these addresses to a list of potential gateways. When the non-gateway nodes receives packets for transmission to an internet destination, it selects a gateway address from the list, and transmits the packets to a destination gateway associated with the gateway address.

A method of wireless communication includes aggregating data in a streaming communication session from a source node (210) in a destination aggregator node (220), wherein data in the streaming session is transported over multiple paths from the source node to the aggregator node via a multipath overlay network including source helper nodes (215) and aggregator helper nodes (225) discovered by the source node and the aggregator node.
