Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for an adaptive de-jitter buffer. SOLUTION: The adaptive de-jitter buffer is used for voice over IP (VoIP) for packet switch communications. This method and this apparatus for the de-jitter buffer presented avoid playback of underflows while balancing end-to-end delay.
