    Abstract: In general, various aspects of the techniques are directed to audio rendering for low frequency effects. A device comprising a memory and a processor may be configured to perform the techniques. The memory may store audio data representative of a soundfield. The processor may analyze the audio data to identify spatial characteristics of low frequency effects components of the soundfield, and process, based on the spatial characteristics, the audio data to render a low frequency effects speaker feed. The processor may also output the low frequency effects speaker feed to a low frequency effects capable speaker.

    Abstract: A device for managing sound playback includes one or more processors configured to receive an indication of a user-device interaction between a user and an audio interface device during a sound playback operation of a multi-speaker audio playback system. The one or more processors are also configured to, based on receiving the indication of the user-device interaction, initiate a selective adjustment of the sound playback operation to reduce a playback sound of the multi-speaker audio playback system based on a position of the user.

    Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for detecting audio sources and configuring acoustic device settings. For instance, a wireless device can obtain a first set of radio frequency (RF) sensing data associated with a first plurality of received waveforms corresponding to a first transmitted waveform reflected off of a plurality of reflectors. Based on the first set of RF sensing data, the wireless device can determine a classification of a first reflector from the plurality of reflectors. The wireless device can determine at least one acoustic setting based on the classification of the at least one reflector.

    Abstract: A device to perform location-based audio signal compensation includes a memory configured to store instructions and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to execute the instructions to receive an audio input signal corresponding to sound received from a second device, determine position data indicative of a position of the device, and generate, based on the audio input signal, a compensation filter to be applied to an audio playback signal prior to playout from the second device, to at least partially compensate for distortion associated with sound propagation from the second device to the position of the device.
