Abstract:
A method and communication device disclosed includes displaying a video on a display, converting voice audio data to textual data by applying voice-to-text conversion, and displaying the textual data as scrolling text displayed along with the video on the display and either above, below or across the video. The method may further include receiving a voice call indication from a network, providing the voice call indication to a user interface where the voice call indication corresponds to an incoming voice call; and receiving a user input for receiving the voice call and displaying the voice call as scrolling text. In another embodiment, a method includes displaying application related data on a display; converting voice audio data to textual data by applying voice-to-text conversion; converting the textual data to a video format; and displaying the textual data as scrolling text over the application related data on said display.
Abstract:
A computing device may receive an indication of an audio signal captured by a microphone, wherein the audio signal includes voice input. The computing device may determine that the voice input in the audio signal is from an authorized user of the computing device and includes a trigger phrase associated with a request to trigger device finder functionality based at least in part on comparing the voice input with data provided by the authorized user of the computing device. The computing device may, in response to determining that the voice input in the audio signal is from the authorized user of the computing device and includes the trigger phrase associated with the request to trigger device finder functionality, cause a speaker of the computing device to audibly output the alert sound to assist the authorized user to locate the computing device.
Abstract:
Enable a user of a dual-SIM dual active DSDA wireless device to handle multiple simultaneous independent real time calls SIMs to prevent calls from being dropped on a multi-SIM wireless device. A DSDA device user busy on an active call receives a second voice call and select to process the incoming voice call using a voice/ text conversation mode. The parties on the multiple simultaneous calls may not be aware of the wireless device's simultaneous communications with one another that the wireless device user is communicating with another party simultaneously with the wireless device.
Abstract:
A route mapping system includes a route module, a wireless coverage module, and a wireless coverage route module. The route module provides a plurality of routes in response to origination and destination information. The wireless coverage module provides wireless coverage information for a plurality of wireless service providers in response to the plurality of routes. The wireless coverage route module provides a plurality of wireless coverage routes in response to the plurality of routes and the wireless coverage information.
