Abstract: Methods and apparatus configured to obtain a decision-point value, and send, for a logical channel group (LCG) having a quantity of data pending an uplink transmission, a long buffer status report in response to the decision-point value exceeding a threshold value, or a short buffer status report in response to the decision-point value being equal to or less than the threshold value are disclosed. The decision-point value may be a buffer status report-type determinative value, which may be based on a peak power envelope of a wireless communication device, a data transmission rate historically obtained by the wireless communication device, a number of component carriers available for a complete upload of a buffer holding data, a cost function, an amount of data associated with the LCG that is pending the uplink transmission, a type of the wireless communication device, or a latency of communications of the wireless communication device.

Abstract: In an aspect, an asset tracking coordination component estimates a time of a beacon transmission from a wireless energy charging-capable device coupled to an asset within a threshold proximity of a scanning device based on an estimated distance between the asset tracking coordination device and the scanning device and timing information associated with a wireless energy transmission, and schedules a beacon scanning window for the scanning device to scan for the beacon transmission based on the estimated time. In a further aspect, a scanning device may both provide a wireless energy transmission and may also scan for beacon transmission(s) from wireless energy charging-capable device(s) during a beacon scanning window.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication performed at a user equipment (UE), includes transmitting, to a network node, a first indication of a first UE radio capability, the first UE radio capability indicating support for a group of evolved universal terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) new radio (NR) dual connectivity (EN-DC) band combinations. The method also includes receiving, from the network node, an indication of an active EN-DC band combination based on transmitting the first indication. The method further includes transmitting, to the network node, a second indication of a second UE radio capability based on an actual data throughput metric associated with the active EN-DC band combination satisfying a failure condition. The second UE radio capability may indicate support for one or more non-active EN-DC combinations. Each non-active EN-DC combination may be associated with a potential data throughput metric that is greater than a data throughput threshold value.

For example, a process can include determining, by a network entity, a handover candidate wherein the handover candidate is a wireless communication device of a plurality of wireless communication devices associated with the network entity. The network entity can transmit to each network device of a plurality of network devices, channel information and scheduling information associated with the handover candidate and can receive, from each network device of the plurality of network devices, energy information associated with a pre-determined packet received by each network device of the plurality of network devices. The network entity can determine a target network device for a handover associated with the handover candidate based on the received energy information.
