Abstract: A method and system for a location-based service are provided to provide each location data, including additional information generated by location measurement results from a first location measurement method and a second location measurement method in response to a service request, to a client terminal. A method for a location-based service comprises the following steps of: requesting location measurement in response to a location-based service request(S410); generating the first location data including additional information obtained based on a first location measurement method(S430); supplying the first location data to a client terminal(S440); generating second location data in which the accuracy of location measurement of the first location data is corrected by receiving the location measurement result obtained based on a second location measurement method(S450,S460); and providing the second location data to the client terminal(S470).
