[Class 37] [Also in Group XVII] The vent for a condenser comprises a diaphragm D as of rubber, with a pin-hole puncture D 1 therein, and a member disposed so that it projects through the hole as at B 2 , Fig. 1, or is made to do so when the diaphragm distends due to internal pressure as at E 2 , Fig. 3. As shown, the member may be attached either to the anode-support or to a dished cover E, or it may form part of a reinforcing spring such as is shown at F, Fig. 3.
