Abstract:
The protective tube comprises a plurality of threads and/or cords woven together, and is characterised in that said cords are made of textile structures that bind together and cover substantially all of the outer surface of said tube. The method for manufacturing the protective tube is characterised in that it comprises the following stages: weaving a plurality of threads to form a plurality of cords; and twisting said plurality of cords to form said tube. A protective tube is created that provides high impact strength, completely protecting the cables it contains.
Abstract:
Sheath which has a general tubular shape, open longitudinally, wherein the transversal cross-section is spiralled and formed by interwoven threads (11, 12); the first threads (11) are multifilament aramide fibre, with high fire resistance and low smoke emission, and the second threads (12) polyetheretherketone (PEEK) monofilament. Optionally, the cover may have a protective covering on its inner and/or outer surface.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of producing protective cable sheaths, tubes and similar. The inventive method consists in incorporating a rodent repellent (1a, 1b, 1c) into the composition of one of the materials (2a, 2b, 2c) used to form one of the constituent elements (3) of the sheath (4), said repellent (1a, 1b, 1c) thereby being incorporated into the sheath (4).
Abstract:
The protection tube comprises a plurality of threads braided together or interwoven, and is characterised in that at least part of said threads comprises hot melt material. At least part of said threads is impregnated in said hot melt material or is made of hot melt material. It allows the protection tube to be joined, totally or partially, to the element to be protected without requiring the use of any additional element.
