Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for producing a synchronising signal for an internal combustion engine phased sequential multipoint injection, said engine comprising a crankshaft sensor for supplying the location of the Upper Dead Centre passages for each of the cylinders and system for measuring the gas torque produced by each combustion. The invention is characterised in that it comprises the following steps: modifying the injection for a given reference cylinder; locating the gas torque modification for said reference cylinder; comparing injection stoppage times and detecting the torque modification and identifying the passage time to the induction upper dead centre for the reference cylinder.
