The present disclosure relates to a method for reducing or preventing colloids adhesion and/or fouling on a substrate in need thereof by forming a coating having a first layer that includes a polyphenol compound, and a second layer that includes a hydrophilic polymer having repeating units derived from one or more zwitterionic monomers, typically one or more betaine monomers, on the substrate. The present disclosure also relates to the coating made thereby and an article having the said coating.

The present invention relates to a cosmetic cleansing composition comprising at least: a) one or more vegetable oil(s), in an amount of at least 0.3 pbw relative to the total weight of the composition, b) from about 2 pbw to about 40 pbw, relative to the total weight of the composition, of a surfactant system comprising at least one sultaine surfactant and one taurate surfactant, and c) at least 0.1 pbw, relative to the total weight of the composition, of a non-ionic solubilizer which is a mono- or poly- alkyl or alkenyl ester of an alkoxylated fatty acid.

An oral care composition in the form of a toothpaste, tooth gel, dentifrice, tooth powder, prophy paste, mouthwash, rinse, tooth mousse, dental floss, chewing gum, soluble oral care strip or film for direct application or attachment to an oral surface, or lozenge for combating dental caries, erosion, hypersensitivity, and/or staining that includes an orally acceptable carrier and a copolymer of a first α, β-ethylenically unsaturated phosphate compound (A); and one or more α, β-ethylenically unsaturated co-monomers, at least one of which is other than an allyl-functional co-monomer, wherein (A) is an allyl phosphate compound of formula (A): [CH2═CH—CH2—O(R1O)a(R2O)b]xP(O)(OM)3-x (A) wherein, R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted (C2-C4) alkylene moiety; R2 is a substituted or unsubstituted (C2-C4) alkylene moiety; M is identical or different, hydrogen, alkali metal, ammonium, protonated alkyl amine, protonated alkanolamine, or protonated basic amino acid; X is 1 or 2, a is from 1 to 20; and b is from 0 to 20.
