Abstract: The present invention relates to a mounting assembly (21) for a pressure sensor (30) in a pressure transmitter (10). The mounting assembly (21) includes a header (58) having a cavity (32) opening to a first surface (103). The cavity (32) is defined by an inner endwall (164) and an inner sidewall (130). A support (120) is joined to the inner endwall (164) within the cavity on a first support end (150). A pedestal (102) has a first pedestal end (102A) supporting the pressure sensor (30) and a second pedestal end (102B) joined to a second support end (136). Aligning means (132) align the second pedestal end (102B) to the second support end (136) in order that a volume of the mounting assembly (21) is increased to thereby reduce a quantity of fill fluid needed in the sensor cavity (32).

Abstract: La presente invencion de refiere a una unidad de montaje para un detector de presion en un transmisor de presion. La unidad de montaje incluye un cabezal que tiene una cavidad que se abre a una primera superficie. La cavidad se defina por una pared extrema interna y una pared lateral interna. Un un soporte se una a la pared extrema interna dentro de la cavidad en un primer extremo de soporte. Un pedestal tiene un primer extremo de pedestal que soporta al detector de presion, y un segundo extremo de pedestal unido al segundo extremo del soporte. El medio de alimentacion alinea al segundo extremo del pedestal con el segundo extremo de soporte para que se incremente un volumen de la unidad de montaje, por medio de lo cual la cantidad de fluido de relleno necesario en la cavidad detectora.
