Abstract:
The present invention relates to the modification of copolymers, in particular of grafted copolymers into comb copolymers. The modification comprises the steps (i) of controlled radical polymerization of a polymer or copolymer bearing a epoxide group at one end resulting from the initiation step, and (ii) a heating step of the polymer prepared under (i) and a copolymer bearing a functional group either in the backbone or attached to a side chain, which is able to react with the epxide group. The result is a comb copolymer with well controlled chain length of the grafted side arms expressed for example by a low polydispersity.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an attachment part for mechanical connection of a rear wall to side walls (11, 12), a bottom wall (13) and a top wall (14) of a cabinet, in particular of an electrical switchgear cabinet. An elongated attachment part (25, 25a) can be attached at each of the four corners on the inside of the rear wall (15) at right angles thereto, on which attachment part (25, 25a) sprung tongues (42, 43, 44; 45, 46, 47) with latching tabs (42a, 43a, 44a, 45a, 46a, 47a) are integrally formed, to which the side walls (11, 12), the bottom wall (13) and the top wall (14) can be firmly latched.
Abstract:
The invention relates to oligo-tetracenes of formula (I) which are either unsubstituted or carry one or several substituents (R and R'), which are selected from the group which consists of halogen, CN, alkyl- or alkoxy radicals having 1 - 18 carbon atoms, aryl radicals having up to 12 carbon atoms which can also contain one or several heteroatoms and/or fluorinated or perfluorinated alkyl- or alkoxy radicals having 1 - 18 carbon atoms, wherein n is a whole number between 1 - 20, preferably 1 - 6, more preferably 1 or 2 and X represents an alklyene group having 1 6 carbon atoms, a hydrocarbon chain having one or several conjugated dual compounds, an aryl group or a system consisting of one or several condensed aromatic rings, for a single compound. In the inventive oligotetracenes, one or several of the six-atomic, condensed, aromatic rings can be replaced by a five-atomic ring which can contain a heteroatom. The invention also relates to a method for producing the known oligo-tetracenes and to the used thereof as a semi-conductor in organic field effect transistors (OFET), organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), sensors and organic solar cells.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of aromatic P-N-compounds in flame retardant polymer compositions. These compositions are especially useful for the manufacture of flame retardant compositions based onthermoplastic polymers, especially polyolefin homo-and copolymers, polycondensates, such as polyamines or polyesters and duroplastic polymers, such as polyepoxides.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for modifying modular messages (7) that can be transmitted via an electronic message transmission system using an electronic arithmetic unit, in particular a computer. A message (7) is read using a read device (6) and the structure (10) of the read message (7) is determined. An individual structural unit of said message (7) and modifications that can be carried out to the selected structural unit are then determined. The possible modifications and/or functions are then displayed and a modification and/or function that is to be carried out is/are read. The validity of the selected modification of the individual structural unit is verified with regard to the structure (10) of the message (7). If the modification is valid, it is executed and a modified, new message is issued.
Abstract:
The instant invention relates to a process for the preparation of grafted polymers wherein in a first step A) a oligomer or polymer is prepared by controlled radical polymerization in the presence of a stable free nitroxyl radical or a nitroxylether to obtain a nitroxyl terminated oligomer or polymer and in a second step B) the nitroxyl terminated oligomer or polymer is mixed and reacted with a thermoplastic or elastomeric polymer or copolymer in its molten state at a temperature at which cleavage of the nitroxyl-polymer/oligomer bond occurs, whereby the nitroxyl terminated oligomer or polymer is grafted onto the thermoplastic or elastomeric polymer. A further subject of the present invention is a grafted polymer prepared by said process.
Abstract:
The strain gauge circuit will produce a switching pulse free of any overshoot. The voltage signal will be dependent on the resistance and will be used to supply electronic units. The strain gauges are used instead of contacts. A sharp buckling effect changes the resistance rapidly. This produces the voltage signal free of any overshoot and with a sharp rise time.
