Abstract: Process to create a thermal reversible crosslinking polypropylene system in the molten state, comprising at least the following step a) functionalization of a polypropylene grafted maleic anhydride (PPgMA) having a molecular weight of at least 9 kg/mol with an amine b) Crosslinking the functionalized polypropylene with bismaleimide to form a Diels Alder system.
