    Abstract: A laminated pane having an outer pane and an inner pane, which are connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer. The laminated pane has an opaque masking region and a transparent see-through region. The intermediate layer has a functional film with at least one layer based on polyethylene terephthalate arranged at least partially in the masking region, an outer thermoplastic layer through which the functional film is connected to the outer pane, and a transparent inner thermoplastic layer through which the functional film is connected to the inner pane. The outer thermoplastic layer has at least one first outer connecting layer composed of at least one transparent connecting film and at least one opaque connecting film. The transparent connecting film is arranged in the viewing region and the opaque connecting film forms at least part of the masking region.

    Abstract: A composite pane having a functional element having electrically controllable optical properties, includes a stack sequence of an outer pane, a first intermediate layer, a second intermediate layer, and an inner pane, the intermediate layers containing a thermoplastic polymer film having a plasticizer, a functional element having electrically controllable optical properties is arranged, at least in sections, between the first and second intermediate layers, and the functional element is a polymer dispersed liquid crystal functional element and includes a second stack sequence of a first carrier film, an active layer, and a second carrier film. An exit surface of the active layer is sealed, at least in sections, on a lateral surface of the functional element by a barrier layer. The barrier layer substantially prevents the diffusion of plasticizer through the barrier layer, and is produced by a vacuum-based thin-film deposition method.

    Abstract: A method for producing a composite pane is presented. A first laminating film is placed on an electrically conductive coating of a carrier film, and the carrier film and the first laminating film are then joined to form a bilayer. The bilayer is arranged on an outer pane such that the first laminating film lies areally on the outer pane, and a second laminating film is arranged on the bilayer such that the second laminating film lies areally on the carrier film. An inner pane is placed on the second laminating film, and a composite pane is formed by autoaclaving a layered stack formed by the panes, films and coatings.

    Abstract: A heatable composite pane having a capacitive switching region. A substrate and a cover pane and at least one intermediate layer, which is arranged between the substrate and the cover pane. At least one heating wire and at least two busbars, which are arranged between the cover pane and the intermediate layer. The heating wire is electrically conductingly connected to the busbars such that, upon application of an electrical voltage to the busbars, a heating current flows through the heating wire, whereby the heating wire is heated. An electrically conductive contact wire, which is different from the at least one heating wire, is arranged between the substrate and the intermediate layer or between the cover pane and the intermediate layer. At least one region of the electrically conductive contact wire forms a capacitive switching region. The capacitive switching region has at least one contact region and one connection region.
