Abstract: A locking device for keeping droppable sides by posts of a loading platform, in particular for lorries, comprises a locking sleeve 27, which is fastened to an edge lining 18 on the side and which is arranged to engage into a cutout in the post in the swung up position of the side. The locking sleeve interacts with a piston displaceable in the post, said piston being penetrable into the sleeve for locking the side to the post. The locking sleeve 27 is connected to a fastener 28 by means of screws 29, said fastener being displaceably arranged in the edge lining such that the sleeve is displaceable along the edge lining 18 and can be fastened thereto in any desired position by tightening the screws. The edge lining has a U-shaped cross section with two protruding legs 32, 33, the free edges 35, 36 of which being turned to face the post and bent inwards such that the distance between the legs is decreased. The sleeve 27 has two protrusions 40, 41, protruding in between the free edges of the legs and being abuttable against same for absorbing any occurring impact forces on the sides or the posts. By the construction of the locking device, welding of the locking sleeve to the side is avoided and, at the same time, the displaceability of the sleeve provides for a simpler adjustment of the locking sleeve in correct position on the side, in order to fit into the cutout intended for the locking sleeve in the associated post.

Abstract: A door or wall construction, which is especially intended for goods wagons, incorporates a rectangular frame with vertical and horizontal side edges (10,11). There are a number of horizontal plank like elements (12) arranged within this frame, whereby the ends of the elements project into a groove in the frame's vertical side edges (10). The vertical side edges (10) in the frame are furnished, with a detachable section (13), so that the lowest plank elements (12) can be removed and swapped, in the event of damage, without the need for the frame to be de-rigged and opened.
