Abstract: The invention concerns a collapsible loading ramp, which is specially designed for driving of wheeled vehicles onto and away from loading surfaces which are situated at different height levels. The loading ramp comprises a plurality of interconnected support panels 10, 11, 12, which are arranged so as to move relative to each other. The support panels are provided at two opposite side edges with lengthwise profile elements 13, 14, 15, to which the edges of the panels are rigidly fastened. The profile elements at adjacent support panels are arranged so that they can telescopically slide into each other and are configured so that they both sustain the loads which occur and provide control during retraction and extension of the support panels. The profile elements can also be configured so as to prevent driving off of the ramp.
