Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluid-pervious fabric for imparting a pattern to the fiber web, by which the fiber web having an excellent quality can be produced in excellent operability. SOLUTION: This fabric comprises at least one polymer material having a softening temperature, and a fabric structure 306. The fabric 301' is heated at a higher temperature than the softening temperature, and a secondary molding pressure Δp3 is applied between the first surface 304 and the second surface 305 of the fabric. Fabric-patterning portions 309, 309' contribute to the deformation of the fabric structure 306 in the direction Z in a deforming region 311, while the fluid pervious property in the deformation region is substantially not changed. The fabric 301 is cooled at a lower temperature than the softening temperature to permanently give the deformation. The method further relates to a fluid-pervious fabric such as a wire or a felt, and to a patterned fiber web such as a paper web, a non-woven web or other fiber web.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for of forming an air laid fibrous web in an extremely high speed. SOLUTION: This method comprises the following process: an airborne fiber stream is laid on a web-shaped forming member such as a wire net (20) and bonded together into an air laid fibrous web, wherein the original air laid fibrous web is fed in between two web-shaped forming members (19 and 20) and bonded together into the objective air laid fibrous web either when the original web is located between the two web-shaped forming members or immediately after one of them has left the original web.
Abstract:
A multi-ply web of flexible material, such as paper and nonwoven material, includes a fluorescent whitening agent. The multi-ply web includes at least a first ply and a second ply which are interconnected in one or more adhesive interconnection zones by an adhesive composition including polyvinyl alcohol or a cellulose ether, and a cationic polymer. Also disclosed is a method for improving the bleed fastness of a fluorescent whitening agent in one or more adhesive interconnection zones of a multi-ply web of flexible material, such as paper and nonwoven material, which multi-ply web includes at least a first ply and a second ply which are interconnected in the adhesive zone(s) by an adhesive composition including polyvinyl alcohol or a cellulose ether. The method includes a step of incorporating a cationic polymer in the adhesive composition comprising polyvinyl alcohol or a cellulose ether.
Abstract:
A stack of a plurality of cellulose-containing absorbent towels for a dispenser is provided. The towels are separable upon dispensing. The stack is compressed to a predetermined density dependent on material choice.
Abstract:

A stack of a plurality of cellulose-containing absorbent towels (3) for a dispenser (1 ), the towels being separable upon dispensing. The stack (2) is compressed to a predetermined density dependent on material choice. The invention also concerns a process for manufacturing such a stack.
