Abstract:
A dispenser for interfolded napkins, having an upper portion and a lower portion, a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction is disclosed. The dispenser includes a container having a bottom wall extending in a horizontal plane and being arranged at the lower portion of the dispenser, and side walls having upper edges and lower edges and extending from the bottom wall in a vertical direction perpendicular thereto; a dispensing opening arranged at the upper portion of the dispenser opposite to the bottom wall; a weight arranged between the side walls so as to form a stack-supported lid of the dispenser that is movable between an upper position adjacent to the dispensing opening, and a lower position adjacent to the bottom wall; and a weight control means interconnecting the weight and the container, and extending inside the container between a container connection arranged at the lower portion of the dispenser and a weight connection arranged at the upper portion of the dispenser. The weight control means restricts the movement of the weight in a vertical direction along the side walls so as to determine the location of the upper position of the weight.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a dispenser for interfolded napkins, the dispenser (1) having an upper portion and a lower portion, a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction. The dispenser (1) comprises a container (2) having a bottom wall (5) extending in a horizontal plane and being arranged at the lower portion of the dispenser (1), and side walls (6) having upper edges and lower edges and extending from the bottom wall (5) in a vertical direction perpendicular thereto and defining a dispensing opening (7) arranged at the upper portion of the dispenser (1) and being opposite to the bottom wall (5), such that the side walls surround a supporting surface (8) for supporting a stack (3) of interfolded napkins (11). The dispenser (1) further comprises a weight (4) arranged between the side walls (6) so as to form a stack-supported lid of the dispenser, wherein the weight (4) defines a dispensing mouth (9) and is movable between an upper position adjacent to the dispensing opening (7) of the container (2), and a lower position adjacent to the supporting surface (8) of the container (2). Moreover, the dispenser (1) comprises a weight control means (15) interconnecting the weight (4) and the container (2), and extending inside the container (2) between a container connection (17) arranged at the lower portion of the dispenser (1) and a weight connection (19) arranged at the upper portion of the dispenser (1). The weight control means (15) restricts the movement of the weight (4) in a vertical direction along the side walls (6) so as to determine the location of the upper position of the weight (4).
Abstract:
The invention refers to a method for embossing and laminating a multi-ply tissue paper product, wherein first and second webs (1, 2) each comprising at least one ply of tissue paper are separately embossed with a background embossing pattern (10) by first and second embossing rolls (6, 7) in a first embossing station (3) and the first and second webs (1, 2) are subsequently laminated in a tip-to-tip relationship to form a laminated multi-ply web (13). The laminated first and second webs (1, 2) are then embossed with a decorative embossing pattern (18) by a third embossing roll (16) in a second embossing station (15) from only one side of the laminated web against a smooth backing roll (17). The invention further refers to a multi-ply tissue product produced by the method and wherein the thickness of the multi-ply web(11) will be substantially the same in areas that are embossed with the decorative embossing pattern (18) as in areas that are embossed only with the background embossing pattern(10).

Abstract:
A dispenser for interfolded napkins (3) includes a container (2) having a bottom wall (5) in a lower horizontal plane forming a lower horizontal plane and vertical side walls (6) with upper edges defining a dispensing opening (7) opposite to the bottom wall in an upper generally horizontal plane. The side walls surround a rectangular supporting surface (8) for supporting a stack of interfolded napkins. A weight control means (15) restricting vertical movement of the weight along the side walls to determine the upper position of the weight. A weight (4) with a dispensing mouth (9) is arranged between the side walls to form a stack-supported lid. The weight is vertically movable between an upper position, and a lower position such that the dispensing mouth has a vertical position which is co-planar or proximal to the lower horizontal plane. This allows all of the interfolded napkins to lay flat in a stack.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dispenser for a stack of napkins, the dispenser (1) comprising a container (2) having a bottom wall (5) extending in a horizontal plane, and side walls (6) extending from said bottom wall (5) in a vertical direction perpendicular thereto and defining a dispensing opening (7) opposite to said bottom wall (5), said side walls surrounding a rectangular supporting surface (8) for supporting a stack (3) of interfolded napkins (11), said dispenser (1) further comprising a cover(4) defining a dispensing mouth (9) and having at least an upper position, such that a space for containing a stack of interfolded napkins is defined between said supporting surface (8) and said cover (4) when said cover (4) is in said upper position. The container (2) is divided along a horizontal plane being parallel with said horizontal plane of said bottom wall (5) so as to define a bottom portion comprising said bottom wall (5), and a wall portion comprising at least a part of said side walls (6), said bottom portion being releasably attached to said wall portion by means of a magnetic lock (27), for enabling refill of napkins from said bottom side of said dispenser (1).
