Abstract:
A system and method of installing a coreless roll (12) of an absorbent consumer paper product in a dispenser (10) performs or includes steps of orienting the coreless roll to a desired position of alignment within the dispenser, and securing the coreless roll to the dispenser by penetrating the coreless roll with at least one projection (30) that penetrates between adjacent layers of paper product in the coreless roll so that the coreless roll is secured against radial displacement with respect to the dispenser during operation. A temporary holding mechanism (38) may be provided to hold the coreless roll in an intended position of alignment while the coreless roll is being secured to the dispenser.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a web of cellulosic fibres characterised in that it comprises as a water-soluble emollient an agent selected from:
(A) Lauroamphoglycinate (B) A high molecular weight cationic quaternary homopolymer or copolymer derived from dimethyl ammonium salt (C) A tri-quaternary phospholipid complex derived from a fatty acid and (D) Glucose glutamate said agent being present in an amount from 0.1 to 2 percent by weight of the web.
Abstract:
There is disclosed an apparatus for mounting a tissue roll (T) and for dispensing a flowable substance, such as cleansing foam, which comprises a canister body (20) containing the substance. The canister body (20) is adapted to be coaxially disposed within a core of a tissue roll (T) and includes a nozzle (22) at one end. Support sleeves (14, 16) are mounted on opposite ends of the canister body (20) and carry axial hubs (24) adapted to be received in recesses of a wall fixture. One of the sleeves (14, 16) carries a laterally extending dispensing handle (18) which contains a lateral passage (52). An upper end of the passage (52) communicates with the canister nozzle (22), and a lower end of the passage (52) defines an outlet (54) preferably in the form of a series of discharge channels (106). By depressing the handle (18) relative to the sleeve (16), the nozzle (22) is depressed to emit the substance which travels through the passage (12) and exits the discharge channels (106) onto tissue held by the user. Upper ends of the channels (106) preferably communicate with an expansion chamber (104) formed in the passage (52) to cause the substance to slow in speed just prior to exiting the handle (18), in order to produce a gentler dispensing of the substance.
