Provided is an aqueous amine-free coating composition including at least one heterocyclic polymer, wherein the heterocyclic polymer is in the form of powder having a d90 less than or equal to 20 μm. Also provided is an aqueous amine-free non-stick coating composition including such an aqueous composition for a coating, and the respective methods for producing same. Further provided is a method for producing an item on one of the faces of a metal substrate, from at least one layer of coating composition or one layer of non-stick coating composition according to the invention.

Provided is a primer composition for a non-stick coating which includes a polyamide-amic acid having an acid value of 50 to 200 mg KOH/g, a Lewis base, water and at least 5 wt % of a polar aprotic solvent relative to the total weight of said composition. According to the invention, the weight ratio of PAI/polar aprotic solvent in said composition is at least 1.5. Also provided is a method for preparing such a composition, and a method for manufacturing an item comprising a metal substrate to which such a composition is applied.

Provided is a non-stick coating primer composition, comprising an aqueous composition and a fluorocarbon resin dispersion, wherein the aqueous composition comprises a polyimide or a polyamide imide or a polyamide-amic acid; a Lewis base; a polar aprotic solvent; and at least 15% water compared to the total weight of the composition, wherein the Lewis base is one of an aminosilane or a silazane. Methods for preparing a non-stick coating primer composition are also provided.
