Abstract:
The invention relates to a pressure cooking utensil comprising a vessel, a lid with an annular skirt, and a gasket interposed between the lid and the vessel, said gasket including a ring and a first lip in sealing contact with the top wall of the lid, said utensil being characterized in that it includes a leakage opening formed through said top wall, the annular skirt forming a stop abutment for the ring, said first lip presenting flexibility that is suitable, when the pressure that exists inside the enclosure exceeds a safety threshold, for causing the inside of the enclosure to communicate with the outside through the leakage opening.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an appliance for cooking food under pressure. The appliance includes a vessel and a lid for locking relative to the vessel to cooperate therewith to form a cooking enclosure suitable for rising in pressure. The appliance also includes bayonet locking means forming first and second series of projections that are secured respectively to the shell of the lid and to the shell of the vessel which cooperate with one another to lock the lid to the vessel. Each projection of at least one of said series is adjacent to a respective opening formed through the corresponding shell.
Abstract:
The invention provides a cooking utensil for cooking food under pressure having a vessel, a lid, and a bayonet-fitting locking system comprising first and second series of locking projections, said utensil includes a lid subassembly that includes said lid and a support attached in pivotable manner to said lid, said lid subassembly and said vessel being configured to be associated with each other in a first arrangement in which the lid overlies the vessel, and a second arrangement obtained by moving said lid subassembly downwards until said first series of projections are lower than said second series of projections, said support and said vessel being provided respectively with complementary first and second guide elements that are configured to co-operate mutually whenever said lid subassembly and said vessel are associated with each other in said first arrangement.
Abstract:
Provided is a utensil for cooking food under pressure including: a vessel and a lid; at least one locking member mounted to move on the lid between a locking position and an unlocking position; a control device for controlling the movement of the locking member, including an operating member suitable for being actuated by a user in such a manner as to cause the locking member to move; wherein the locking member is mounted on the lid in such a manner as to be urged by positioning resilient return means towards its locking position; and the operating member is mounted to be drivingly linked to the locking member in a manner such that the action by the user on the operating member causes the locking member to move towards its unlocking position.
Abstract:
The invention provides a bayonet-fitting pressure-cooking utensil having a vessel and a lid, said utensil including a support attached to said lid so that said lid can pivot relative to said support, the support and the vessel being configured to be united in a predetermined relative arrangement enabling the lid to be locked to the vessel, said support forming a first positioning element that projects radially beyond the lid and that is designed such that, when the support and the vessel are united in said predetermined relative arrangement, said first positioning element interacts mechanically with a second positioning element to lock the relative angular positioning of the support and of the vessel, while also allowing said handle to project radially outwards beyond said support.
Abstract:
The invention provides a cooking utensil for cooking food under pressure including a vessel, a lid, and a bayonet-fitting locking system, said utensil including a lid subassembly that includes both said lid and a support attached to said lid in such a manner that said lid can pivot, said utensil including a control member for controlling the locking/unlocking, and a transformation device for transforming the movement of the control member into pivoting of the lid relative to the support, said control member being shaped to be capable of being taken hold of manually and being connected mechanically to the support so that said lid subassembly being lifted manually, via the control member, causes the control member to be urged back into its unlocking position.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a food pressure cooking appliance including a bowl and a lid intended to be locked relative to the bowl to form with the latter a cooking chamber adapted to rise in pressure. The appliance includes bayonet locking means forming first and second series of protrusions that are integral with the envelope of the lid and the envelope of the bowl, respectively, and that are intended to cooperate with each other to ensure the locking of the lid relative to the bowl. Each protrusion of at least one of the series consists of a volume element that has opposite convex and concave faces and is formed by a localized radial deformation of the corresponding envelope.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cooking utensil for cooking food under pressure including a vessel, a lid, and a bayonet-fitting locking system, said cooking utensil includes a control member for controlling locking that is attached to said support via a mechanical coupling allowing said control member to be moved, and is connected to the lid via a movement transformation device for transforming said movement of the control member into pivoting of the lid, said mechanical coupling being configured so that said manual movement of the control member is formed by a movement in rotation about an axis of rotation (Y-Y′) parallel to the central vertical axis (X-X′) and/or by a movement in translation.
